MCAA Announces 2009-2010 Board of Directors Local Atlanta Businessman Elected to National Board of Directors
WASHINGTON, D.C., June 11, 2009 – Mr. John Lauth of Courier Connection, Inc. in Atlanta was elected to the Board of Directors of the Messenger Courier Association of the Americas (MCAA) for 2009-2010. The election was part of the Association’s Annual Convention and Exposition held last month at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
MCAA President Mike Gualtieri stated that “John is ready to take the Association to the next level. He will help the industry face the many challenges that confront the same day delivery business and continue the growth of MCAA’s programs and activities. You could not ask for a better guy to lead our industry.”
Mr. Lauth has extensive experience working in the transportation industry for over 20 years. He founded Courier Connection in 1999 and since the company has been recognized as the 32nd Fastest Growing Privately Held Company in Atlanta by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. John has served for several years in the Mentoring Program with High School and College students. He also serves as a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight of Georgia transporting Cancer Patients throughout the east coast.
